The objective of post office operations - with the aim to improve the environment in which the vast postal transaction is done. During the last three years the number of post offices under Project Arrow involved is as follows:2009-10 - 500 post offices covered2010-11 - 530 post offices covered2011-12 - 206 post offices coveredHe said the contract is on the list of post offices to generate additional revenue for the department, which is diversifying activities in post offices is an ongoing process. IT project established under the IT platform will support new products and services. Other organizations to deliver products and services for the use of its vast network has diversified into all of its activities, such as -1. Reserve railway tickets booking.2. UID enrollment for the base cards / distribution.3. Bookmark this post offices selling passport farms.4. Bookmark this post offices accept Upyeagita bills.5. MGNREGA wage distribution to beneficiaries through Post Office Savings Bank.6. Aggregation of rural price index data - data collected from the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation is transmitted electronically.7. Post Office savings accounts and money orders through the payment of pension to be paid by the State Governments.8. Sales of gold coins.9. Some time , even after installing all java updates and configurations we face issue of  "Applet Not initialized properly’ Error in Finacle"           the best solution for the same is 1..  Use java 7 updt 17 (It always works fine) - if any other version is installed , kindly uninstall the same 2.  now  navigate to following path C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\LocalLow Delete the folder named SUN. Now clear cache and history of internet explorer and re launch internet explorer.  Give a tick in check box and click Later Give a tick and click RUN Here also give a tick and click on RUN Sometimes if you response was delayed it will show Error loading applet. But no problem. Just give user id and password and login. Now when you select FINCORE, another pop up will come as shown below Here also, give a tick in the check box and click RUN.

After CSI Roll out, we often need to reinstall CSI Applications or create fresh database when existing server goes out of order like HDD Crash issues.
